The Settlers Of Catan is a board game that you can build around the premise of trading in a city called Catan. This game calls upon players to utilize exceptional strategic thinking, long-term planning and negotiation skills. The objective is for the players to trade resources in a bid to build the best kind of roads, travelling settlements and for that matter, cities and towns. The playset contains many elements like a rulebook, almanac, 126 game cards, 60 roads, 16 cities, 18 number tokens,20 settlements, 9 harbour pieces and 19 terrain hexes. It also has 6 sea frame pieces, a robber figure and two dice. For 3-4 players, this game is best enjoyed by those above 10. It must be kept away from smaller children below 3 as it presents a choking hazard to them.
