The Singing Bird House by Vtech is an educational toy that engages children in meaningful entertainment. This colourful toy shaped like a birdhouse with 3 birds sitting on eggshells inside the house and 1 bird sitting on the trunk outside the house. A tree trunk and nest are placed outside the house with a mechanism to allow the birds to be placed on them to trigger different responses. When the baby birds are placed on top of the nest, they can be spun around, which will make the bird say fun musical responses. When they are placed on the tree trunk, then you will hear the instrument that the bird is holding in music mode and hear facts about the instrument in learning mode. There are light-up buttons which teach objects, colours, and numbers. This toy includes 2 songs and 15 melodies for children to hear or sing along. When all the three birds are placed in the nest, then they will harmonize. Under the birdhouse are three piano keys with the words Do, Re, Mi written on them. These keys trigger different musical responses. The Singing Bird House is made of plastic. It is recommended for children between the age of 12 months and 36 months. It requires 2 AA batteries which are included in the box. It measures 30cm x 28cm x 12.5cm.
