Own a piece of Australian motorsport history with this 1:18 scale Ford Mustang GT diecast, linked to Dick Johnson's iconic career. Imported from Germany in 1984 for Australia's first Group A season, it was a backup to Johnson's Ford XE Falcon at the Bathurst 1000. Although withdrawn before the race, it later competed at Surfers Paradise and appeared in Johnson's Green #17 livery for the 1985 ATCC.

The model is highly detailed, featuring a cowl panel vent, twin antennas, bonnet scoop and kill switch. The stripped left-hand drive interior includes a full roll cage, switch box, pedals, and a padded racing seat with individual harnesses, while the Gold BBS wheels hide slotted disc brakes on all four corners.

Under the bonnet, the 5.0L V8 breathes through twin snorkels and opens via a chassis release button. Metal suspension springs, steering linked to the front wheels, and a detailed rear chassis with air jacks, fuel tank, differential, and suspension setup complete this collectible, which bears an individually numbered etched edition plate.
